WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THE JST COMPETE PROGRAMME?

A day’s programme can generally include a mixture of conditioning, weightlifting and gymnastics. Put together in a periodised format to peak you for the right competition!

 

WHO IS THE JST COMPETE PROGRAMME FOR?

Athletes that can put 90 mins to 2 hours of training in per day, spread over 1-2 sessions.

 

REGULAR ATHLETE MEET UPS AND SESSIONS

We regularly invite JST Compete athletes to get together for training sessions. Check out some of the action from one of our 'Max-Out' sessions below.

We run a number of different competition programmes, all of which are periodised so that its followers are approaching their selected competition in their best possible shape. This will include and off-season phase, specific preparation phase and finally into a pre-competition and competition phase. We see training for fitness competitions just as any professional sport would do, which involves precise planning and preparation to deliver the best results!

BEN MASSEY

I have been following JST Compete programming for a little under 6 months and it has made an incredible difference to my performance. I used to just do my own thing, picking workouts here and there from different sites and Instagram. I always thought it was all about increasing GPP (General Physical Preparedness). Whilst that is great, it doesn't actually carry over to competing at a high level in CrossFit or other fitness racing type competitions.

I am really excited about the next phase and cycle where we will focus on conditioning to peak for the CrossFit Games Open. The knowledge behind JST Compete, the support network they have created (via members FB group) combined with specific training days at JST makes it the best programme I have ever followed.

JST compete programming truly works wonders! I started in the summer 2014 and have already made immense progress from the genius programming of Steven Fawcett! I really like how well balanced it is, and how you have an options of choosing plans that is directly targeted at specific competitions or general well being. I can highly recommend it for everyone. If you are a Newcomer, mediocre or high level athlete, JST will definitely have a program to help you towards your goals.

Having been doing the JST Compete programme for the last year and a half I can honestly say the programme has managed to target and improve all aspects of my CrossFit training. 

Ranging from increasing the numbers I can now lift, to improving technique and endurance on many gymnastic exercises, to lastly conditioning me to love the assault bike. Something I never would have thought possible.
